Here are a couple of reviews I pulled from
Amazon.com. If you want to read more, I encourage you to visit The Millionaire Fastlane product page. And if you
really want a good laugh, check out the bad reviews too— my
book explains why life is filled with morons who would take
offense to such a great literary masterpiece!
This book is packed with information and extremely well written. I have read most of the seminal works on how to create wealth and build businesses, and most of them are great at one aspect or another, but few are as comprehensive as The Millionaire Fastlane. MJ Demarco takes many of the concepts that contribute to wealth and success, and crystallizes it into a clear concise picture.
The book is not about real estate, or investing, or any of a dozen other particular ways to get wealthy; rather, its value comes from showing you the mindset and process to become wealthy doing almost anything. If you want to learn how the wealthy view the world, find their opportunities, and capitalize on the to be successful, this may be the only book you'll ever need to read!!
This is by far the BEST business book I have read hands down. Not only is the content absolutely stunning, it is also well written and organized in a very logical manner. Often times I find business books can be a chore to read, however you will find no such problem here. If you're looking for a starting point on your process to wealth then I definitely recommend reading this book.
PLEASE READ THIS BOOK! I have worked with major celebrities and athletes that went broke earning $1 million a year, this is the first author to really explain why. I have read over 200 books on the subject and only 10 were worth reading; I've been to all the seminars and although I have been wealthy for sometime, I so wish this book was available when I was 20.
This book is mandatory for anyone serious about gaining and keeping their wealth. I am buying multiple copies and sending them to friends who dont understand why I OWN MY TIME.
This is by far the best book ever written on the subject, better than Rich Dad Poor Dad, better than Think and Grow Rich, better than any book by Donald Trump, this book breaks it down. I am a very hard critic on books of this genre and I had to sing the authors praises publicly. Anyone that gives this book less than 5 stars is crazy! I bought this book after seeing all the 5 star reviews BELIEVE THE HYPE!
Someone FINALLY had the balls to tell the real truth about ALL the crap out there, and direct us toward a real true path of prosperity. It is simple, follow what he says and be filthy rich, or dismiss it and remain as you are, a necessary but enslaved worker ant.
I'm confident if someone reads this book and implements what MJ teaches, you'll be wealthy. The game is easy. The problem is, most people decide to sit the whole game out, or play their whole life by the wrong rules. This book shows you the right way to play the game if your favorite color is money green like mine.
My cynical nature is rarely disappointed. And I was prepared for this book to be more self-published non-sense. I was wrong. This book is quite good - and I was pleasantly surprised. Think of it as similar to the 'Rich-Dad' series in tone, but with all the very best stuff there in spades - and with all the filler gone.
The author is both an excellent writer (again, rare) and has a knack not only for telling it like it is, but for expressing himself with analytic accuracy and striking clarity. Essentially the book helps you re-think all you thought you knew about wealth creation.
It's neither a how-to-guide (i.e., buy real estate) or the 'you can do it' feel-good treatise (a la Tony Robbins). Rather, it's critical thinking at its best. He works to debunk a number of wealth fantasies sold to the masses. In many ways, it's not althogether new, but it has rarely been delivered all in one package with such clarity and panache! I'm sure I could take a few critical stabs at it, but one fact remains: it's far superior to most out there in it's genre.
This book is a wake up call of epic proportions and I think some of those talking head gurus are going to put a price on his head. If you're someone desiring success while still young enough to enjoy it, this book delivers by the truckload.
You can tell within the first 50 pages that this isn't some hokey self-help, chants and crystals book...it's a labor of love from a man who clearly doesn't need the money. Why are you still reading my review, get this book, and you'll be on your way to owning your future rather than leasing it out to someone else. This book is a GAME-CHANGER, nothing less.
This is a book that's going to really shake things up... Let me warn you by saying that all of the lessons we have learned our entire lives about money and its relationship towards "freedom" in life are challenged here. I cannot explain in only a few paragraphs of review just how much this book and this author has changed my life, nor would I want to give away too much before you've had a chance to discover the value within its pages yourself. But I can promise you that most of what you've learned in your years in school or in the workforce are given a SMACKDOWN here.
I can promise you that there is a clarity that comes with reading this book that no other book on the market will ever give you. Most of all, I can tell you that this book is going to change people's lives, and that until now, very few people have had the good fortune to receive "tough love" lessons from a multi-millionaire who wants to see you follow in his footsteps. MJ DeMarco has changed everything here.
This was a book I took a gamble on and unlike lotteries there is an ongoing return. I have read many other works by many authors, this sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb. It has meaning, direction and focus towards actually getting things accomplished and moving towards a much better financial existence. I do not write many reviews, nor do I do them to satisfy my ego as some seem to find the only way to authorship, this is an exception. I feel strongly that anyone whom purchases this book will be very satisfied, though you may have to take a step back to let some of it sink in.
I have never written a book review before, although an avid reader I don't like to comment on books. I think when you write a review you need to be subjective because you might be at a different stage of your life, education, experiences etc. I read a lot of reviews and I often see people commenting on a book e.g. it is too basic, but maybe you are just too educated and that the book was written for someone with no knowledge at all. I have a huge book collection on every subject, history, personal development, business, religion, technology etc. I love to read and I love to increase my knowledge.
I can promise you that this is by far the best finance book I have ever read. I can honestly also say that doesn't matter whether you are already wealthy or on the brink of bankruptcy this book will change your life if you apply the principles taught in this book. I can also say that I won't waste any more money on finance and entrepreneur books. This is the only book you need on your shelf. I'm very fortunate that I found this book at the right time in my life and I already started implementing some strategies and I will write it more in detail on the books website. Do yourself a favor, get this book put your foot on the pedal and overtake yourself in the Slowlane and drive in the Fastlane.
MJ DeMarco's book gives you an inside look into the making and mindset of an entrepreneur who retired a multimillionaire in his 30's. This is a no nonsense in-your-face reality of what it takes to accomplish your dreams and live the lifestyle most only dream about. Hands down, it's the best business book I've read (and I've read all the classics!) from someone who's actually been there and done that. It's easy to read and filled with humor and a style that is uniquely entertaining. It's a MUST READ for those looking to design their own lives and escape the rat race.
Of course DeMarco is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way, because he's merciless in puncturing balloons. For instance, DeMarco points out that the advice to "do what you love" is foolish for purposes of accumulating wealth unless there's actually a market demand for what you happen to love. Just because you love knitting or hula hooping doesn't mean anyone's going to pay you to do it.
If I could find anything to criticize, it would be DeMarco's assumption that the Fastlane is open to all. In reality, I think some people simply lack the imagination to be anything but wage slaves. They're the ones who are quick to play the victim card if they don't get, or lose, the job they want, because somehow it was owed to them. They're also the ones knocking this book here on Amazon.
“ I have just finished reading Polish edition of TMF. It is such a gem that it I couldn't stop myself writing this quick review. As I have some past entrepreneurship and property landlording experience this book resonates so well with me. I think this is the most comprehensive book on wealth building nowadays. Not only it covers proven business formulas, but it has some eye-opening concepts on your general life mindset, family relations and value of time. ”
“I'm late as all hell with this, but I read the CRAP out of it... It changed my whole view on wealth and money. Easily one of the best books I've ever read. Recently got a copy for my boyfriend too (a Fastlane lady needs a Fastlane man, after all). MJ, you kick several kinds of ass”
“Just finished reading the book and all I can say is WOW. To say it was an "eye-opener" or "inspirational" would be an understatement. The writing was just down-to-earth and just.. real, something a lot of these self-help books lack. Definitely the best book of its kind that I've ever gotten my hands on, something about it just captured me so much more than Think and Grow Rich ever did.”
“ The moment I picked it up I could not put it back down until I finished the damn thing cover to cover and loved every page of it. Now I can't wait to implement what I've learnt. I had a great idea for a year now with very few competition in the education/technology sector. After reading your book I started implementing it, already seeing progress and results....I haven't even built it but set things in motion and spoken to potential customers....everyone is excited! ”
“ I read it. Twice. I was highly skeptical the first time, but was unable to spot anything that was obviously BS. The second time I read it more closely, and agreed with the NECST principles. It looks like MJ has done a good job documenting a process for accumulating wealth. ”
“ Enlightening, refreshing, impeccable. I love the writing style. So blunt. No bullshit, just truth! I've recommended it to four others already. Like you said in the book, when you create something that amazing, people have no choice but to share it with their friends. ”
“ What a fantastic read. This is definitely one of the best and most influential business book I have read in years. It's like a call to arms for anyone on the Sidewalk and Slowlane. I love your passion and no-BS approach MJ. I'm going to re-read it again now! ”
“ Read the book and loved it. Best financial book I have ever read. I got sucked into soooo many of the 'guru' books, this was EXACTLY what I've been searching for. I saw myself in this book, it was a real eye opener. Especially when MJ mentioned the 3000GT! (I have one - AKA the poor man's Ferrari). This book definitely changed the way I think forever. ”
“ I'm about to tear myself away from the forum to read the very last chapter. I've spent the last year reading various books like The 4-Hour Workweek, One Simple Idea, How to License Your Million Dollar Idea, The E Myth Revisited, etc. and was absolutely amazed at how TMF seemed to magically pull everything together and make it all "click" in a way that finally prompted me to act. Great read! ”
“ I loved it - no BS and was refreshing to read content that wasn't from some guru who "makes money telling people how to make money" I wish I read this 20 years ago, but it's not too late to start shifting my gears and head over to the Fastlane... ”
“ I read the book several months ago. After reading I realized that this is the "Think and Grow Rich" of 21st century. Three books I will be reading over and over for the time to come. 1) TMF 2) Think and Grow Rich 3. The Intelligent Investor. ”
“ One word: PRICELESS! I've learned pretty much everything I wanted to know since reading about how to become a millionaire. I always thought that these people that write these books never tell you EXACTLY how to become a millionaire. They always beat around the bush and tell you to save, invest, do what you love, blah blah blah. Well one thing I know for sure is that MJ BURNED that bush down in this book. Every question I've always wondered about or wanted to ask was answered. Thank God for your honesty, either you just couldnt take the BS anymore from these so-called mentors out here or you just didn't care to tell it like it is. Whatever it was THANK YOU! I really hope you understand how you are changing peoples lives. ”
“ Was by far the best book on entrepreneurship, self help, building wealth I have ever read (avid reader, read 4 books a month.) I am confident I will become a millionaire following the principles in your book. Thank you for the enlightenment. ”
“Awesome book. I have read many personal development and wealth building books, but none like this one. I had so many DUH moments in this book that I will put this down as the all time greatest for me. I am starting a business now as a direct result of reading this book. Realising that you need to become a producer rather than a consumer, wow how simple is that. It is just common sense, but I didn't get that before. NECST is brilliant. It has changed my whole perception of businesses, I ran those strategies over my current business and realised that I am on to a winning idea, although there will be lots of changes in the way it is built. Thank you for this great book, it has changed my life for the better and I will be recommending and giving it to many people in the future.”
“ I think it the best entrepreneur book ever. I am not saying this lightly. I think I've read over 200 entrepeneur books in my life and I wrote four books about venture capital. And I've never read anything like his. MJ DeMarco is as far as I can see at this point the Einstein of entrepreneurship. He cracked the code and wrote it down. Kudos to MJ. I will look forward to anything else he produces in future. ”
